He and his wife, Kathy, and their three children, Jenna, Alyssa, and Michael, live in Manchester, Connecticut. Under the direction of Auriemma since 1985, the University of Connecticut women's basketball program has posted 19 winning seasons and captured five NCAA National Championships.
